Rubex Interiors: From Father’s Shop to Luxury Interior Leader

Introduction

Rubex Interiors designs and builds bespoke interiors for hotels, restaurants, offices, and showrooms. When the 22-year-old owner took over from his father, the company was just him and a trainee. He saw potential but lacked the structure and roadmap to grow.

Challenge

As a first-time entrepreneur, the young owner needed clarity: how to grow, which markets to serve, and when to invest in people versus equipment. With little structure, the risk was getting stuck in survival mode.

My Approach

  • Created a 10-year dream board with a BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal)
  • Translated this vision into concrete revenue, financial, and personal goals
  • Applied the Bitsing method to sharpen value proposition and target customers
  • Built 12-month milestone plans with clear next steps
  • Guided hiring decisions and investment choices (machines vs. people)
  • Structured regular coaching sessions to keep focus and rhythm

Result

Rubex Interiors grew twentyfold in under 10 years. The company established itself in the luxury segment, expanded its facilities fivefold, and now has a 12-month waiting list. Instead of chasing projects, clients seek them out.

Founder Transformation

Before: running a tiny shop with no clear plan, overwhelmed by choices.

After: leading a thriving, focused company, confident in decisions, with freedom to build his future.
